Hey fellas,
Recently Audi launched their latest sports car the R8, and God it's beautiful. It vividly shows that Audi is outdoing BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Here is some information about it: Maker: Audi Model: R8 Type: 2-door, 2-seater rear-engined sports coupe Engine: Supercharged 4.2 Litre V8 Maximum Power: 420 Horsepower 0-100 KM/H acceleration time: 4.6 secs 0-200 KM/H acceelration time: 14.9 secs Top Track Speed: 300 KM/H (187 M/H) Main Competitors: Porsche 911 Carrera 4, Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG, Jaguar XK-R, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Lamborghini Gallardo Drivetrain: Quattro All-Wheel Drive Base Price: in US ($110,000) in UK ($150,000) The cool thing about this car is that a substantially significant part of its body is made of Carbon Fiber in order to eliminate weight and make it as light as possible. It's not categorized as a supercar but there will be upcoming V10 and V12 (with 10 and 12 cylinder engines) version that'd raise the price tag, power, and top speed to supercars territory I personally like its design the most, sepcially those small light dots in the front light perimeter (see last 2 pics). It hasn't been officially launched yet in the Middle East, however, a wealthy Iraqi has been spotted driving one in Amman, Jordan. He has reportedly bought it from a Qatari tourist who privately imported it from Europe. Although it is affordable and within my budget but I won't buy it coz I don't like it
