أكمل الاتحاد العراقي المركزي لكرة القدم إجراءات التعاقد مع المدرب النرويجي أولسن مدرباً جديداً للمنتخب الوطني العراقي بطل أسيا خلفاً للبرازيلي جورفان فييرا الذي اعتذر عن مواصلة المهمة لأسباب خاصة، وجرت مراسيم توقيع العقد وتقديم أولسن للصحافة في فندق لارسا بإحدى ضواحي العاصمة الأردنية عمان عقب يومين من المفاوضات لوضع تفاصيل العقد.
What do think of this decision?? I'm afraid it's not a good one.....I don't think that our team will reach the world cup with this coach, i think that Vieira should continue in world cup qualification, we r not Brazil or France who changed their coaches after winning 98 & 2002 world cups respectively, i think after winning Asian cup the Iraqi team should look for more stability cuz the qualifications r long & stability is required for any team. I hope i'm wrong  |

well sure we all want VIEIRA to continue , but his contract is over and he dose not want to sign again i heard him say that,so we have no choice.

Hi guys
 I think that Viera did a good job with our team and it was of mutual benefit for us and for him; we won the Asian Cup and he became so famous as the coach who won the cup with very short coaching period and hard circumstances of Iraqi team... As long as he didn't wan't to coach our team anymore that's mean (as I think) that he is looking for a bigger contract and more stable job than with us... I have no idea about the new coach but we should wish luck for our team and see how things are going to be... Regards |

اني متفائل خير ابفرقنا سواءا ابقريقنا الوطني او الاولمبي
مثل ما جان عندي شعور حناخذ بطولة اسيا ان شاء الله نصعد كاس العالم و تالتاهل لاولمبياد بكين و ان شاء الله التالق في كاس القارات اميييييييييييييييييييييين و ترى هذا المدرب معروف و درب النرويج ابمونديال فرنسا سنة 1998 و صعدوا للدور الثاني ابوكتها و بيها الخير ان شاء الله |

well guys dont worry he is a great coach as i heard . .. he was norway coach in 1998 when norway won brazil 2-1 .,,,, and by the way his history is much better than vieira ....
