Hey All...
It think it would be nice to share our views in the following questions, maybe we create mood for each other in certain subjects in our 5th year...! What is the subject you like to read most in 5th year??? Why do you like this subject? From experience? Interest? becoz if its lectures? What?? What advise you like to give or hint you like to open our eyes to, to make us see what you see maybe??? I hope we can at least find in our 5th year members enough posts that cover interests in all our subjects in 5th year!!!! Have happy days...SAFE TOO. |

hi guys kul 3am wa antum bi5er.....
i wanna thank noor for this superb subject it is a first of a kind.... well for me i think i like arthopaedics for many reasons....when i read lectures with some photos from the book (outlines of fractures) it becomes clear in my mind and understandble and also when an orthopaedic surgeon makes an operation to a person i feel he is really doin' somethin' to him....coz as u know movement is a very imp. thing to all of us (alah yib3idna 3an heechi mushkila) |

Thank you Bilal, ali and Kathum for your interest,
Yes Bilal you are right...I mean here the subjects of Fifth year not the Forum, I'm sorry if it was confusing the topic! Kathum, you said medicine you like more...can you explain more if there is more to say?? And yeah Bilal, Ortho was cool for me at first, I felt am learning lots of new terms, new things...but I just feel the last lectures of upper limb were like confusing me coz it started to look alike....all fractures! I think I have to review some anatomy to feel really greatly having the full image and picture, to be able to remember from understanding, not just memorizing...coz it would be difficult like that! Waiting for more replies... Thanx |

Sorry I was in a hurry so I didn't talk much about medicine.
Well, my idea has developed from last year, although I haven't attended the medicine courses this year; but I always like medicine and the art of diagnosis. |

Auscultating... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Group: Graduated Doctors Posts: 894 Member No.: 9 Joined: August 13, 2005 |
I think it’s the neuro medicine lectures because it’s all logical and it’s more about understanding than memorizing (except some things of course) and so I also like the orthopedics for the same reason especially Dr. Dawood’s lectures because they were short and can be summed as follows: OPEN REDUCTION AND INTERNAL FIXATION
By the way, a student with us knows Dr. Dawood personally and she says he treats his wife perfectly, so for those who think he’s sexist, the man was just kidding. best wishes |
