From GOAL.COM
Re-live the draw of the group stage of the Champions League, as it happened. 1745 (CET): We are just about 15 minutes away, and we can already see the representatives arriving. 1748: Pedja Mijatovic (Real Madrid) and Peter Kenyon (Chelsea) have just arrived, and are taking their seats. Interestingly, Kenyon is sitting next to Barca represntatives! So much for the Ronaldinho rumours! 1750: Just to remind you how it works: a) The 32 teams are grouped into four pots, with the top 8 seeds in pot 1, and so on. b) A group comprises of one team from each pot. c) Teams from the same country cannot be grouped together. There is one additional factor that will be kept in mind today. Because the Sevilla-AEK Athens tie is yet to be decided, and we do not know whether a Spanish or Greek team will come through, the winner of this tie will be treated separately, and not grouped with either a Spanish or a Greek team. Group A: Liverpool, Porto, Marseille and Besiktas Group B: Chelsea, Valencia, Schalke and Rosenborg Group C: Real Madrid, Werder Bremen, Lazio and Olympiakos Group D: AC Milan, Benfica, Celtic and Shakhtar Donetsk. Group E: Barcelona, Lyon, Stuttgart, Rangers Group F: Manchester United, Roma, Sporting Lisbon and Dynamo Kiev. Group G: Inter Milan, PSV, CSKA Moscow and Fenerbahce. Group H: Arsenal, Sevilla/AEK, Steaua Bucharest, Slavia Prague. Attached Image ![]() |

Nice draw, I think there's will be more much excitement in Groups B.C & E.
It's always nice to see Barca in a difficult group but i think Real's group is not easy too.. Good Luck for Real Madrid & Liverpool |

I think that there is no easy group at all coz all the teams can play well and even small teams may surprise big ones and that's what we used to see during the Champions League...
Good Luck for |
