a hi5 problem !

Plz I want help,

I have a problem in my hi5 :

I can't update my profile , I can't send msg , I can't send comment or 5ives or other stuff, ( so boring ! ) unless I format my pc !!!!! and after some days it will get back as it was !!!!


I don't know what's the problem ?! Can any one tell me ??

Though i am not a big fan of the hi5 things ... but didn't get ur problem right?

Who said formatting will solve it? and temporarily ?? I mean have u tried that before?? Try instead deleting ur temporary internet files and cookies .. not sure if it will work ..but try that ..

I tried deleting my temporary files but it didnt work !

And about the formatting thing , yes i tried it ! about 2 wks ago i formatted the pc and the hi5 started to work but then it stoped !!!

hmmm.. and the cookies too u deleted mo? can the problem be related to the site itself? i mean doesn't it "y7ashish" from now and then? what about ur connection and ur windows ? have u changed anything in any of them prior to the condition ? lol ..am i taking a Hx here.. ..hope not..

Hello Reem ..

i think hi5 is a very classy great way to communicate with others and get to know new friends or keep up with old ones ..but i yet know that its a very poor site TECHNICALLY .. and many of what u said and other problems like the net is stuck on one profile and else could happen ..

they have many updates every now and then .. and certain features go out temprory sometimes .. but here is a couple of tips :

1- when u send a 5ive or a message .. it frequently happens that it wont be send from the first time .. SO WAIT UNTIL U GET A SUCCESS MESSAGE IN GREEN TELLING U THAT THE 5IVE OR COMMENT WAS SENT .. and try to do it many times or refresh the page before u get that notice

2- very oftenly .. when u update your profile ..it will not show the change at once ..but it might take time for the change to appear .. i mean wait a couple of hours .. or a full day at most ..and u will see that your profile was changed !

3- again i think its a technical issue ..and u dont need to format ur pc to get it well with hi5.com !!

yes, it may be related to the site ! but why only with me ? and why did it work after the format and now it is not ?!!


my connection is fine although im on dial up ! i mean all other sites work properly and my window is XP.

Not really , i didnt add or do anything !!

Anyway u r most welcome Reem .. hope things work after all.. though i think / feel it is not related to windows nor formatting..

Now here is the " classical " deal .. u format ur pc one last time( i know u've done it b4 but since nothing else to do .. ) .. then if the hi5 works immediately after that .. it is definitely ur pc's problem .. we shall see after that what's wrong with it..

Well , i thought that u will feel better once u know that others have the same problem on hi5 not only u ..

but now i think i should format my pc too ..coz i keep having the same problems .. as for u Yezen .. no matter how little u know about hi5 .. u rock in PC stuff .. good for us : p

PS. i really wonder Reem how you spend time on hi5 while u have exams .. ur the only person that i can say "NOT SACHACHA"
