Samsung mobile, problem downloading program

Hiii guyz
I have a problem here ... I can't download OXford medical dictionary "which i get very used to " to my mobile ...
I bought it recently so i don't know how to use it's features can u plz help..
it's SAMSUNG -E250

Which version r u trying to download to ur mobile?? the (.sis) one ?? if so i think ur mobile doesn't support such extensions it a non symbian mobile .. u must try the java (.jar) one.... recently added to the same topic there..

thnx alot for ur fast reply .. I did install the Java file and i read in my mobile features that it supports it but then what I mean i don't know how to install it esp. 'coz there's not such a feature as SETUP as i had in NOKIA

hmmm...i think java doesn't need much of set up ..may be just putting the file in the correct directory .. sorry dunno much about Samsungs .. will try to search and check it for u ..

Though didn't find specific things for ur E250 .. but try to notice these things bella..:

# I think samsung mobs need a .jad file with the .jar ..if so u will need a jad creator which is not a big deal..

# What type of connection r u using?

# Did u manage to transfer anything to or from the mobile? else than java applications..


or better to tell what did u do and where did u stop? hopefully will be able to help..

thnx alot 4 ur concern ..i almost gave up on my mobile , i tried alot of things on it
Anyway, am gonna try to answer the questions with the little knowledge i have abt Samsung
sooo
*Am using a bluetooth connection
*I could install music "mp3"and photos

Okay, I installed the file ".jar"to the mobile and it went to the "other files " folder ..the problem is there >>>the "other files" folder's option doesn't contain any term like setup or sth like it ...
I looked for any other programs that can open this file but there isn't ...
it seems like it just view the photos and play music
so is there a different way i can use to manage the files on my mobile or shall i just give up?!

I don't know if this is useful but i installed a program from the samsung downloads called samsung pc suite

good .. i loved the word "folders" .. it is a start .. lol ..so tell me about those folders..what are they?? is there any "applications" or "games" folder? if there is any ..can't u paste the file( the jar ) to there? or there is such folder but it is not shown in the bluetooth phone manager..??

hmm lemme c ..
the folder that's called "other files"
it contains the files other than music and photos...there's no games there ..
the games r in another folder called java world
i tried to send the "jar " file there as u said but there isn't an option like move...
there's only send via bluetooth..
and for the other q ..yes the files appear in the pc studio but again no option?!:-?

not really sure .. but i guess either u need a jad file (for the jar) which is obtained by a jad generator( will look for it later , kinda in a hurry now ) .. or u can paste it outside all folders (just like i do in SE) then it will choose the appropriate one which is the java world..hopefully ..
