Thanks for sharing this link.

I have seen the interview on TV and enjoyed it despite the bad interview skills of the Interviewer.

Obviously she did not make an intensive research about the life and achievements of this great figure.

Besides, time and old age has remarkably affected Dr. Naji's memory and recall.

When I was a student in the College I was very fortunate to attend few honorary lectures of Dr. Naji.

He was really inspiring.

Once he told us this story:

"When I was a consultant in surgery, I used to teach my students everything I know. A colleague of mine, who was a famous surgeon told me," Khalid, are you nuts? If you tought those students everything, you wont find a patient to treat when they become consultants. They will steal your bread. I answered him that I don’t mind that if they became well enough to steal our patients. Besides, I always believe that the student should be cleverer than his teacher was. This proves that science is developing and not static.."

thnx for posting this interview..
i saw this great doctor when i was in the 1st stage..he told us the same story that Dr. yasir write...when he finished his lecture..he requested from the student to ask him any question or have interview with him.... so i spoke to him and asked him how he ( dr.ali) had become such a great surgeon..his reply was ..I ALWAYS ASKED WHY??

when i finish my question.. I shaked hands with him..he said to me : why ur hands are so sweaty??..that's mean u respect me.. thank u....

SO, DR. ALI NAJI THANKED LOAY LAZAR IN 2002

i saw Dr.Khalid Naji i guess in the first or the 2nd year,he came to give us a lecture and he said to us wonderful things that really were very strong ,he said them in a funny way but the deep meaings were great..
and i remeber one thing he said (No one can enter to your mom's room and ask your fatger to get out from it But the Doctor )
