Hi guys..
How r u ? it's been along time since i participated here and am alittle shy to make my first reply here a request but i hope u won't take it against me.. So.. Do u know a site for differential diagnosis..? something concerning the signs & symptoms of similar diseases and how can u differentiate between them??I really need such a thing ..'coz am having some trouble in remebering the symptoms of each disease !! i guess this will come by practice ..and repetition but till then can anybody help me in this?.. Thanks alot in advance.. |

Hi Safa,
Here is this web site in which you list the signs and symptoms of the patient and it will give you the differential diagnosis. Actually this web site is very trustworthy, we used to check it hundreds of times daily when I was in the UK as a trainee. http://www.emedicine.com/diagnosis.shtml I wish you all the best. |

dear Safa
i don't know a site like u asked but here r some useful tips 1st, try to relate the pathology of the disease to the signs and symptoms like to understand why these symptoms happened in this disease. 2nd, when studying try to imagine or visualize the symptoms and signs you're studying like if you read "hemoptysis", imagine someone coughing a bloody plegm. this point is a scientific fact proved by experiments, that the brain memorizes things better this way. smiles |
