don't study any book. the year just started and u don't know many diseases yet. what u should do is to master taking history. most probably the examiner will ask u about vaccination, a little of development and mile stones and the feeding. u must know how to prepare milk for bottle feeding and how to clean the bottles....etc.

physical examination, learn how to do skin turgor and memorize other signs of dehydration, where r the fontanelles and what's their importance.

and study well the topics that u took in the lectures so far including those that r not yet in the photocopy.

well Muhannad,as i have just finished my Pediatrics course-without exam dry.gif -
we read a malzama of dr. Qusay Ra7eem,u may take it from Almadeena,it's for history taking ..they said it's enough &u'll learn some examination(general)&that all...

there is malazem ma7choob and thre is handbook for specialities and there is case sheet alos and there is the book of mu7ammed al najar,
and qusay's malzama read them all and i garantee u to be awal.

U can read Dr.Muhammed el Najjar book (50 clinical cases in paediatrics) + sheet of DR.Qusai, i think both r enough for 5th grade.
