im not sure ..but i thought that many of us has some thoughts that he would like to share em in here .. doesnt matter if its tiny .. it could be useful or funny or any !!

i will start ..

1- STRIKE TV & OTHER !
u know .. these tv programs that ask you very simple questions and wait for u to solve it and get 50 000 $ or so .. lets see the flows in them :

- the questions are sooo easy but with little thinking , so u get very very motivated to solve the question

- u call over and over and over again .. and every time u get this message "wow ..u were very near ..call again" .. "this is lucky ..u were one step from getting the chance to answer ..call again" .. etc.

- the sweet presenter gives many many clues that she literarily begging u to answer !

- they make FAKE ppl call and answer with wrong answers or they dont know the answer and this makes u feel soooo eager to answer and consider them stupid not to give an answer (come on .. why would those ppl who dont know the answer call the tv and lose money if they dont know the answer!!)

- some day a guy won 1000$ only .. and u dont know if he is with them or not !!!

- if there is a notorious way to collect money then there is not better way than that !! be ware wise friends




2- they guy on zee tv who is the match of Maryam :

Well Ghayath ….I think that you've started a very important subject about some of the satellite channels like STRIKE for instance ….

I have something which I like to discuss here…
It is the Satellite Channels SMS Problem especially those that broadcast songs only… If you take a quick look you'll find about 35 songs channels on the Nile Sat alone and this is a DISASTER coz these channels depend in their financing on the SMS and faked competitions and faked lottery that we don't know whether the winner can really claim his prize or not… Something else is that the whole screen of such channels is usually covered with SMS in all directions leaving about 50% only to view the clip… We mustn't forget mentioning that most of those SMS are socially not acceptable …
Obviously those channels don't care for what they present or whatever coz their only concern is the MONEY so you can see that a competition is going on between such channels to grab more viewers which means more SMS and more MONEY… and since most of the viewers of those channels are teenagers or young adults so they can grab them easily by clips containing beautiful girls, handsome guys or even hot scenes either by the way they dress or the way they act… So the result is a powerful secret weapon that destroys our minds…Don't forget that such weapons are manufactured by your own money so try to stop it…

Dear Zaid, I think you have put a very important issue into discussion.

Firstly, I genuinely agree with you about all of what you said.

Secondly, These channels are a waste of time before being a waste of money. Besides that, their fans are mostly teenagers who have loads of spare time which can be used in other means.

The only problem is that we can do absolutely nothing about that...
It is not about advising teenagers no to watch video clips cuz we will only waste our time.

We have to be realistic, we must provide an amusing, useful way of spending time other than these channels which is almost impossible in our country.
We all know that 50% of an ideal Iraqi guy or girl is TV.
No1 can go out regularly, you can't provide a proper internet conection most of the time, there aren't even decent libraries or bookshops where some1 can buy or borrow a good book.
All these factors kinda hamstring us from providing an alternative for teenagers as well as ppl from other ages to spend their frre time in other things.
Moreover and the most important cause of these phenomena (silly music channels) is what these channels show which is irresistible by teenagers.

I really can't think of a solution to this disastrous problem. I hope you guys have such ideas.

well i c that the satellite is a collection of iraqi and *7alee7*ee channels thats it and dont no about the other countries where r they this is 1st
2nd thing the issue of the subtitle and what the channel is viewing in the channels that view news and other programs u c a song and ppl r happy in it and at the bottom u read the new of the killed ppl and such news ...what a nice collection !! and about the strike channel and others like it ... i once saw thepresenter almost will beg the viewers 2 call and no body does ??what is this??some tv channels r disasters and i dont think that there is a solution cuz its the only way especially 4 us in iraq 2 to have little fun so at first and last u have the remont in ur hand so go any where ur free as long as u have the remont.......

Well M7md I want to make myself clear about the clips...
I'm not against them at all but I refuse the bad clips that affaect the social attitde and behavior...
If there are good clips that respect our society then let's enjoy them...
