Gower's sign, I'll never forget you!

I never knew Gower sign before the 5th grade ..it is when you ask the child to lie down on the floor and then asked him to stand up so if the child climb on his body to get support in order to stand this means that the child is having proximal weakness you can find it Duchene muscular dystrophy and other diseases..i was introduced to it by Dr.Khalid ibrahim ....during the medicine lecture .few days ago i was
talking about it during pediatrics session and it came to my mind who will teach Gower sign for this year 5th class ....since dr.khalid is gone
who will teach appendicitis for 4th year class this year since dr.abdel hadi is gone
how many signs we are gonna miss this year and in the coming years ?!

You know Farah,2day i was talking with a friend 'bout dr. Abdul-Hadi,&i really was thinking who will teach our collegues the same easy,joyful way he tought us in surgery,or Dr Hassan Al-rubai3i in physiology &the way he explained the Automatic N.S for us ...i didn't hav the chance 2 meet dr. Khalid as a prof. ,byt i met him as a man,he was just wonderful ...
all what i wanna say,is this is the first time i think of attending lectures(as i did't use to do)to get benefit from those who remained &who are not less better that those whom we lost....

God blesss their souls &God keep our Docs...Amen
