i really appreciate ur effort for serving the students ,but from the first two lectures i can not feel that reading them are enough to inter exam with it , well i do not know are they an introduction that are not very important for exam or not, and if u recomend a book to read neurology of this year where would it be???

and thanks again for ur efforts.

Hi Ali and Prince,
am so glad that you asked .
the first two lectures are an introduction for neurology and they are for clinical aspect you are not going to be asked about them in the written exam .
but still you are going to be a doc so you should know these things the best way is to use books such as Macleod and /or Hutchison
for me i write only what the doctor said because if i want to talk about the neurological exam and cover it i need 50 pages or more and this is insaine bcmf/harhar.gif

but what really bothers me that the doctor is so fast and i feel that the lectures are not for us but for the post graduate student especially the coma lesture he was talking to them not us
bcmf/thmbdn.gif

i hope the lectures will get better in the future we finished the introduction now
and for lecture one .... i can assure you that this is what the doctor said exactly nothing more and nothing less

thanx again
please ask any time

dear farah

your lectures are more than wonderful to us bcmf/clap.gif ,for you write what the doctor said literely ...

but a friend of mine from a previous year ,said that their lectures took the same pattern which was not that advantageous at the assay questions .....so i know that you and your group are doing the best you can ,but can you (if you can't get bothered) widen about the topics that Dr.Sarmad tells us about a little more ,from the book,or from the enternet....and we would be more than gratefull....and if you can't then i'll understand ..... biggrin.gif

yours faithfully bcmf/signgoodluck.gif

hi Hour_Glass

about lec 4 dr.Sarmad ...

i saw it unorganized coz it got many topics which were not linked 2 each other ... so they were not easy 2 memorize ...

also the arabic talkin is in the iraqi accent which was somehow hard 2 understand ...

although i know that the proff. gave his lec in that way ... but ... givin a lec is different from writin it ... i mean we can take the proff. speech & make it in specific topics so it can b more organized & easy 2 memorize ...

Dear Tina & Siran
as you said before the doctor speaks in arabic and english
but sometimes you need to have explanation for what he said in arabic because if am justgoing to write the term many people will ask me what is this
so your suggestion is to write the explanation in english?or write the terms and you will manage to understand?
please when you are talking about certian lecture just tell me which one you are talking about (give me the no. of the lec.........ok?)
about Aws to have more details about the lecture and add it to the doctor lecture is not my responsibility and am not authorized to do such a thing ....my responsibility just to convey what the doctor said during the lecture.
and this is exactly the difference between studying in book and studying lecture
if you are studying lecture you will never get good results as those reading in books

thanx

dear farah

if you thaught that i was talking about myself then you misunderstood my whole claim..

as for me i read books (not every day) but i do my best..whether davidson or oxford..etc..etc so i know exactly the advantage of books

but what i said was for the rest of the student's sake

as you know i do write lectures...and i actually don't suffice the students with what doctor said ..it woulden't be enough from my perspective

last year i used to write long lectures...and some students would find that agonizing but later on they thanked me for that

i'm not asking you to write 10 papers ... but to add simple interesting notes that come in handy during the exam...

most of the students don't even see the book ...and i don't blame them for that..

they have 7 else classes ...

i'm just carrying to you what a Stageer friend of mine said to me and warned ...

and you are thanked in all means

yours truly
