Peace be upon you..

At first I see that the students who write the lectures exerts a lot of efforts and time but still more work have to be done.

I have some ideas about improving the photocopied lecures and you have ideas too but the key point is how to make these ideas come true.

So we have to think about tow points;
A)What do we want to see in a good photocopied lecture?

B)How to make the lectures-writing groups do what we want ?

Regarding (A) I can say ;

1)The photocopied lecture must include the additional information that are mentioned by the professor and not present in the textbook and that requires recording the lecture.

2) The photocopied lecture must include any figures that the professor shows by slide,draws on the board or ask the students to see in the book .They must be present near the explanations,not accumulated at the end of the lecture.

3) The photocopied lecture must include notifications about the topics that the professor concentrated on during the lecture or mentioned that they are important.

4) The photocopied lecture must be reviewed by the professor to overcome any linguist or scientific mistakes.

5) The photocopied lecture must be printed or writen in a proper hand-writing .no way for bad hand –writing.

6) The photocopied lecture must be ready for copying within short time from lecture giving.

Regarding (B ) I have tow ideas that I will post later.

your ideas are very good, too good maybe. coz if such lectures exist; we wouldn't have to enter lectures at all! and I don't think that's the main goal.

one more thing, I think it's nice but almost impossible to ask the professors to check the lectures for errors, mino bee 7el! tongue.gif

Other suggestions are really good, I'm with you bcmf/thmbup.gif

I think in short lecture-writers must be careful and this is enough to make our lectures awesome.

if some1 wrote a short lecture of headlines ...and if same person wrote a long1with extra notes from text book
in both cases students will blame him ....believe me no way

.... i don't know . .but for me .. i would say the best way till now is to write the slides and the notes of the dr. and the questions given by the dr. too ... still ..if the sujbect ( al dares ) is ok to check with the books then it's better to write some of the important paragraphs .. ( that's what we do in our stage .. ) !

but as i said the main is to write the slides with the notes and questions of the dr.
which i tihnk is good ... !
