hi everyone ... sorry for this .. but coz of the fast lec that the Dr. gave , we forgot to add this topic at its time .. coz we needed along time till we found it and write it for u so this paper is addition to the lec 44
glomerulonephritis associated with hepatitis : 1.GN associated with hepatitis B virus infection : This may start sever sickness and in adult is more sever and they are liable to develop HT and hepatorenal syndrome . Renal pathology : proteinurea and mild proliferation in the mesegium and we find IgG,IgM and C3 can be found In the capillary wall . Lab IVx : HBs Ag , anti HBc Ab and HBe Ag also +ve this is the most important correlation with decrease in the activity of the disease . Other finding is MPGN type 1&3 . HBV GN : natural history may be stable or may pass in renal failure that’s if he develop liver failure . Rx is by giving alpha interferone . 2.HCV GN : in this case we have the patient presented to us by systemic cryoglobulinemia syndrome , arthralgia , purpuric , weakness . or the patient may come with renal manifestation as MPGN ,, or the patient may be presented in nephritic syndrome .
