Workshop for the Oxford Book Project.

Hello...here are details for next workshop.

Title of workshop: Oxford Handbook project plan.
When: Tuesday 11th . April. 06

Topic:

This workshop will be on the exact plan and steps needed to be taken to ensure that the project will bring the best results it can bring. We will assign members to achieve the steps needed to finalize the work.

Goals and Expected Outcomes:


The goal is to give the members specific tasks and missions to achieve and put a good time table to follow these missions done by the members. The members will take the responsibility to finish their work and each workshop held afterwards will be to discuss the work being done by the members.

Description:

The steps needed to be taken are the following:

1. put dates for specific fixed time table to be respected by all members, and not postponeded by any member.

2. The mechanism finally books will be distributed through, and asking the department about how the books will be kept safe, and how to manage distributing them and taking them back for next generations too..

3. Taking recommendations from some Internal Medicine professors on the benefit of the book for students, and how they can encourage students to read in it.


4. Work on the stamping or putting stickers on books?? the Cost of each method, where shall we do this? and What shall we write????

5. What to write for the Deanery department as request for working out the way books will be divided and how to organize system for them written on a request.
As well as who to involve to tell about the project exactly? Which dean assistant? Student issues dean assistant?? The Union??

6. Publicity for the Project, Writing posters to be kept at students Union? who to take the responsibility of publicity for this porject?? What to write, how to design?

7. Monitoring the Project each course next year? Designing a survey for monitoring project success and how to distribute it on group leaders each course? and feedback from professors on it.

8. Responsibility of involving the BCMF in all the work, i.e publicity and follow up of the workshops, feedback on them, the monitoring process of the books, sharing the benefit and experience of the project with the rest of students all on forum.

9. Finally the person responsible for next workshop leading, if interested, would write down all notes during the workshop and be responsible to involve the forum in infoming about all details.
