I can not remember my final exam questions...of 32 years ago!!!

However, I can tell you something that may help.

I passed my Primary FRCS (England) on the first attempt by reading and revising the smallest books possible. These were the "General Pathology for DENTAL students", "Snells Clinical Anatomy" and "Lecture notes of Physiology for Medical Students"

Only 2 of our group passed from first attempt (11 failed)

Every other person was reading the BIG textbooks of "Last's Anatomy" a huge Pathology book and a huge Gannong's Physiology.

In my opinion, you will be able to MASTER the small books in the limited time, but not the large ones.

Anyway, the small books will concentrate on "IMPORTANT" aspects that will fail you if you did not know. The big textbooks will confuse you with a lot of information. No one will fail you if you did not know these "trivial" information (I was the first person in IRAQ to invent the name "hab raggy" to call them, honest)
This is my two pence worth of advice.

I hope it helps and good luck

Mohammed

Dear fellows,
Wish you the very best of luck and all the success ahead, looking forward to hear that BCM is up rising again.

please let's know if you need anything whether theoritical or clinical.
and don't worry...all will pass soon or later... all will be doctors at the end.

and as Dr. Muhammed mentioned...don't bother and confuse yourselves with many book resources...it's gonna drown you more and more

Best of luck guys.

Samer
