* U may call it " Project of the Week" , " Corner of Social Activity " ,
" Our Team Work " ....... or anything else.....
* Inside this section, U may put an Introduction concerning the topic we about to disscuss, a corner for any relevant pictures, diagrames, posters...etc , and the ultimate GOAL we intend to achieve
* There could be a corner for a Poll for ex., letting the members to choose the
next week possible subjects...
* and offcourse the usual ways of posts, where we can disscuss the subject and put any info we have .
* At the end of the week , U can summarize the topic in one page may be , that we can act on it by distributing it...
P.S : Thats how I imagined the section, but I am sure that u may have far more possible ideas, U may choose the best suitable one ......

OK, I think setting a strict timetable for such a project isn't a good idea, since we will not be always able to work and achieve something within a limited period (like a week for example) so it should not be strict.

Our website is a forum, so particiaptions and additions can only be made through starting topics and/or replying on them, along with the possibility of polls and such stuff... what I'm saying is that it won't be as u r imagining it dear Ammooory.

I'll launch a section named Projects & Team Work, with the appropriate description that I'm working on right now to make all the members understand the use of it.

First the new section idea is great.

As for the water project, I think if you’ve read my links they contain some beautiful info about how to cut down wasting water and I think this is exactly what we need to know and we must teach these ideas to people like using a trigger hose when washing the car or washing it with a sponge and like turning the faucet when washing your hands and others that you see in the links.

The links also tell you about how much we waste in each of our daily activities (note that one gallon is about 3.7 liters) so I think these are very important info that we can include in our campaign for example we can say (did you know that each time you wash your car, you waste 550 liters of water).

I suggest we work on some posters to promote our ideas and these posters must be interesting and a little funny.

well I liked the Idea of posters I can help there .. just gimme an idea to start with.

One day I was in a restaurant and I was washing my hands with the faucet turned off (not to waste water) then this waiter passed by and he saw me and said, “what’s wrong? There is no water?!” I guess he couldn’t imagine someone thinking of the value of water.

I’m telling you this because I think we can make this a poster and we could add something like “a running faucet while you wash your hands will waste x amount of water”

What do you think?

Now about the poster.. I guess as we are talking to diff. minds "not all are well aducated" I guess we need to write in arabic with simple Ideas so as to reach their minds easily yet I guess it should be touching somehow to affect them.
I guess I got an idea which simply is demonstrated by a desert somehow or semething like that or even a thirsty child with an affecting title as "كي لا يموت احفادنا عطشا" I guess its touching somehow and Im gonna start working there still I need substrate material to work on, meaning: I need different images or phrases or even more ideas to work on.
Hamoodi I guess your Idea is nice but yet not much ppl are affected by numbers and x falues I guess they are affected by something else still I dont know what! , and about that idea still I guess we've to make several posters then we can chose from ... so if you can provide me with images of faucets, ppl washing thier hands, deserts ,oasis and other things like that'd really help me working it out.
ps I prefere cartoon images!

HUGIE ... I have some idea that U might work on...
U can put a water being wasted from the tap as drops ..then these drops will turn in the end of falling column into the pic of money ( Dinars ..... I guess abo il 250 )
This will teach them that every waste drop is in fact a wasted money that can be used somewhere else.....
CAN U DO THAT? I find it a nice idea .....who agress?

well I guess inorder to do that I need an image of a water tap "I think drops are easily created" yet the money issue I guess its not that easy to be 250 Dinars! Just provide me with images and I'll see what I can do.
Ps its not like Im gonna draw them, its just to edit and combine images with a little art there, so dont go so wild with your dreams!

well I just finished a poster (about smoking) Which is 100% done by me so I guess I can say "ALL RIGHTS RESERVED"
I have the psd file in my pc as a proof
and for those interested I'll explain ... the cigaretes in the buttom are taken from an image that I've got in my pc "img of cigarets full to the top" the skull is taken from Google positioned there with a little burn and lightining so as to give it a dump effect the text is obviousely done by text tool while the teared "NO SMOKING" signe on top left corner is done by taking an ordinary signe "found every where" then I made a selection which splited it into two halves as it is looking here meaning I DONT CARE KEEP SMOKING AND LOOK AT YOUR SKULL

ps it is on low resolution so as to upload it easily , and when you need it for some serious work just ask and it'd be there for you immediatly
