I am new to this forum, so forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong area.
My name is Yasmin and I work for the Student Iraqi Medical Association based in London. You can read more about us at our website, www.studentima.co.uk .
My message however, relates to our latest project, being launched in the next 30 mins...SIMA: Prospect.
'Prospect' is a new publication that we have created to faciliate the publication of work by students of the medically allied professions (medicine/dentistry/pharmacy) who have an interest in the rehabilitation of Iraq. Ultimately, we want to provide the students of Iraq, with a platform from which your voices can be heard.
Please check out our first edition, published online and let us know what you think.
Also, if you would like to subscribe to the mailing list, or even better, contribute to the e-journal, be it designing, editing or writing, get in touch with us at prospect@studentima.co.uk.
We look forward to working with you Best Wishes The Prospect team

Dear Yasmin,
First of all I'd like to welcome you to the family of TheBCMF... I hope that this will be the start of a good journey of collaboration and productive work.
I also like to congratulate you and all the SIMA team for the wonderful work you've done with project Prospect... I have been reading in the e-journal and I can say that it's some good work! keep it up!
You have posted your topic in the right place, I believe, but I also believe that you can elaborate a bit more regarding what is it that you expect from the memebers... what do you think?
Congratulations on your achievment, and welcome again :-)

Dear Dr Kadhem
Thankyou very much for your kind words. I would be happy to elaborate on SIMA: Prospect.
The tag for this inaugral e-journal is 'progress through opportunity'. This is also the title of my editorial in the first edition of the journal, which explains the project in more detail.
The aim of the journal is to ensure that you, the future of the Iraqi healthcare system do not become isolated during these years of hardship. Iraq has always produced dedicated, hard working students, and we at SIMA feel that it is important that you are open to the same opportunities that we have had available to us in the UK. In particular, through Prospect, we want to provide a platform for students of the Medically Allied Professions to submit their work so that it can be read internationally. As you can see form our first edition, we have included a wide range of subjects, so if you feel that there is a specific area you would like to write about, please email me at prospect@studentima.co.uk and we can get started on working together to get your work published.
SIMA also has a number of other projects running alongside Prospect under the Iraq Relief banner, which you can read about on our new website www.studentima.co.uk. Please register and share your views with us on our own forums, so that we can direct our efforts to the areas you feel are most in need.
Together. we will make a difference Kind Regards Yasmin Al-Asady
