SIDE EFFECT OF ANTACID

1-chalky taste
2-mild constipatin and somtimes diarrea
3-thirst and abdominal cramps
4-whitish or speckled stool
5- ANTACID that contain Ca or Na bicarbonate in P having large amount of Ca in thier bodies could cause NAUSEA ,VOMITTING and could cause PERMENENT KIDNEY DAMAGE

side effects of Bismuth?

medication is generally well tolerated. Stools may appear gray-black in color while taking this medication but it will disappear if the drug stopped.

dear freinds,
i found a new drug which drew my attention,it's for dibetic patients who have to take the two drugs(metformin and glyburide) it's called GLUCOVANCE.
it's been used widely now ..with some precaution with patient having heart problems,kidney problems and diabetic ketoacidosis.

main side effect will be lactic acidosis.
other than these precautiion and side effect .it's relatively a good drug and save the patient from having 5 to 6 tablets /day.
