I wonder if I can take a moment of your time to answer a few questions, your answers are really appreciated and will really help us improve.


Here are the questions:
answer as many as you want (answering all would be very appreciated)

1- How did you know about the BCMF? and do you have any idea that will help us make more people know about it?

2- Did you find any difficulty in completing the registration? and were you stuck in the "Validating" group? if so did you find the "Welcome New Members" topic (viewed exculsively by validating members) of any help??

3- What's your first impression when you entered the site?

4- Do you feel that the topics are being discussed by the same group of members? and does that make you feel uncomfortable in participating? and what suggestions do you have to improve this point?

5- Why do you think that there are many members who haven't participated, not even a single post?

6- How often do you log in to the site?

7- What's the first thing you do when you enter?

8- Do you have any suggestions?

well,i knew 'bout the BCMF from Tina & Siran(thank u very much both)&i told all my group..i think the best way is 2 advertise in the college 2 have lots of our collegues share us in their notions &suggestions,coz it's their forum too..
'bout my 1st impression,it wasn't so good but don't 4get that the forum is still new &needs time 2 become a wonderful one &i'm sure of that coz i c that all of u do a gr8 effort ..

4yes a group of ppl are taking over the whole subjects but that dose not make me uncomfortable but the a newly member may find it annoying.

5 may be they feel that it is late to be an active member.

8 may be we should ignore the rating thing.

1- i knew this site from the mailing group , i was a member in it and we were discussing this subject for days , so when u made this great site , u sent it to us

2- No , it was quite easy ...

3-What a wonderful site is this !!!!

4-Well , sort of , because other members from other grades r not so active may b because there r not alot of their friends here .... but we have to work on that and invite as many as we can from other grades to overcome this problem , and by the way , it didnt annoy me at all ...

5-may b because they dont have internet at their houses ?!!

6-every time im on net .

8-well , we have to work to invite more students to this great site ...

4) Maybe, it doesn’t matter, it’s not the participants fault if others are not posting. There’s no need for being uncomfortable, just post when you feel you have something to say.

7) I click on “view new posts”
8) I suggest that next to each member’s name, appears his/her grade (5th grade, 4th or whatever). Also we should work on spreading this site to other grades.

Hi brothers ...
1) First of all I knew it from Ghayath last August .
Each and every one of us should tell our friends about the benefits of being a member in the bcmf . As an example I didn't know what's capute medusa untill I read kadhum's post...
2)It was very easy ..
3)In the beginin' i didn't have any impression actually i wasn't very much intersted coz i didn't know the guys there . But now I'm very happy having YOU all as friends ...THATS MY IMPRESSION NOW
4)Well it was so in the begining but now i don't think so ..Advice for those who don't feel comfotable . JUST DIG YOUR OWN WAY AMONG THE GUYS ..You will find them more than happy to help you.GO FOR IT.
5)I don't know really may be they didn't try or just registered for the sake of there friends ..
6)Every single day !!
7) I read the replies of my own topics first then I post my replies to interested ones..
8)I dunno...

i saw that along time ago.. and i didn't have time to respond ! .. but i guess now i am ..lol

3.my first impression . was : what is this place ?.. lol .. it was sooo differnet at tha ttime . i entered when it was still in the black and red ! *(i guess those were the colours ! )*

5.some may be afriad to post any ! and this is especially females .. and some are not that intrested !

6.everytime i get into my pc !

Let's give some answers...

1. I knew at first from you Kade then I took the address of the forum from Ali Adel

2. not at all...it was a piece of cake.

3. I was a little bit excited

4. Yes I do but I'm fine with that coz when I enjoy a topic or when I have certain opinion I'm going to post and if not then no problem. I think that it does not need to be improved coz it is simple (( if you like it then post ...if you don't then don't))

5. I think that members who didn't participate at all had 2 reasons or at least one of them:
a) they are so shy to express themselves.
they don't think that their english is strong enough.
So Iwant to tell them don't stay shy for life and it does not matter if you have mistakes in writing coz "WHO DID NOT HAVE"

6. Every time I'm on the net

7. Either I start with "View new posts" or I start from the "Longue" downward.

i found this topic today
so am sorry for this late answer but i thought if u asked that nicely i should answer !
1:from neo's lec. which i read the night before exam "it's good thing he wrote it in 1st lect of dr.hadaf" 'coz that was the only one i could read!!
2:no for the 1st part of question " no difficulty at all in registring"and i don't know what u r talking abt for the 2nd and 3rd ...abt validating group what does that mean??
3:! "for the 1st impression
4:" as if u r reading my thoughts!" not just that i feel that some of those ppl are answering only the "those ppl" and i kinda have the impression that they all should know each other in person ..inorder to answer ...but i guess that 's ok and normal as long as u don't exclude the others ..
5:i think the reason is b'coz of the answer above ..
6:am living here!
7:to my surprise i found sth called "view new posts " it took me so long to see it 'coz the fonts are kinda small and there's lack of colors..though the design of the site is beautiful

8:i think the presence of sth like a guide for welcoming new members and all would help. am not sure that there's not such a thing .. it may exist and i haven't find it yet
esp. in stages section .. if in each stage section there is welcoming section this would be nice'coz 1st thing i think anyone did or do is to see who registered from our stages!
in general the site is really nice and improving and the ppl here really nice and cooperating

well Kadem since u said that it's ok to reply in an old topic I'd like to answer your questions:
1-from a lecture written bu Usama Tharwat that's what pushed me to register.... then I was encouraged to participate by LACOSTE team members in April 2006
I think we can make more ppl know about it cuz there are many active net users in our colleges who haven't registered yet... and I'm sure they will like it...
2-No... as I remember
3-I Didn't understand the idea.. I didn't know how to participate.. that's why I haven't posted anything from October 2005 till April 2006
4-Rarely
5-They're still not familiar with the site... or didn't like it
6-Twice a day
