I had an idea about making a Books Society in our college that can have people discussing and exchanging books. With so many people, as I see, interested in this topic, I think we can start that. We can have regular, may be weekly, meetings to talk about that and we can have people discussing what they have read. We can also promote the abilities of expressing ideas and thoughts and dealing with different opinions. It's all May Be's now. Let's hear some suggestions.

that's a good idea and we can also have a book club in which we agree to read one book and we meet regularly to discuss what we've read. I'd love to have such activity but I think it's not easy mainly because we don't have time.

well muhammad, i think we can,,as it won't take more than an hour from us(as i think)so just let's hold the meeting..give us the date&time

but Sarah, a lot of 5th graders are now not going to college, the exams are coming and we have lots of lectures to study.

well i meet most of the participator and i have the pleasure to meet sara and safa ,,,, sara ur a really nice and active person so hope u will be the leader of the book club .

Well , for me , am with Muhammed's opinion...'coz am so busy with the exams these days ...but anyway if u arrange sth. let us know so that to see wether we could make the time for it..

& abt. the novels Yousif ..what do u have in mind?...most of the ones I have r for famous writers like
جان دارك ل "جورج برنارد شو"
مذلون مهانون ل"دستوفسكي"
بائعة الخبز ل"كزافية دي مونتابين"
& many others like these .but others r not translated like "the mother" for M.Gorky...,Little Women can't remeber for whom someone starts or ends with "kate..." ..
so if u need one of those u can tell me or tell Sarah & I'll bring it to u...


one more thing I should warn u abt. all of these are no less than 400 pages & sometimes much much more ....
