Well for me i think it depends who wrote the lectures & how u believe in this person's knowledge
For example i think in Surgery lectures of 5th year especially ORTHO the lectures were more than enough to be read during the course or the exam, on the contrary Liver lectures in medicine 4th year were not good so most of us read Liver either in Davidson or Oxford and so on....
For me surgery: Lectures+ Browse tables Medicine: Lectures+Davidson+-Oxford Gyne and Pediatrics only lectures

about 4th year medicine liver lec. they r the same as the book. except there is no introduction to the subject so u can study the introduction in the book and continue with the lectures with few additions from the book.
and as omar said it depends on what u want 50 or 90 .
