Our exam was different for 2 causes: 1-The doctor said he'll be bringing the questions only about Rheumatoid Arthritis, SLE & Scleroderma and he did. 2-There were 5 main points with 5 subpoints giving a total of 25 t/f point which is different from the 10 points exam that the students are used to...
Here are the questions: 1-Regarding RA: a-It's a chronic symmetric polyarthralgia. b-Hand joints are rarely involved. c-More common in elderly females. d-Liver involvement is common. e-Methotrexate is useful.
2-Regarding RA: a-Mouth ulcerations is a typical finding. b-Malar rash is common. c-Correctable joint deformity is typical. d-Eye involvement is usually uveitis. e-Anaemia may be part of disease activity.
3-Regarding SLE: a-Renal involvement is common. b-Nephrotic syndrom could occur. c-Microcytic anaemia is not possible. d-Mouth ulcerations is a typical finding. e-Cardiac involvement is not possible.
4-Regarding SLE: a-Cholorquine is not useful. b-Prednisolone should be used to all patients. c-Erosive arthritis is common. d-More common in young females. e-NSAID's are contraindicated.
5-Regarding SLE: a-Antinuclear antibody is positive in 50% of the patients. b-Antidouble strand DNA AB is positive in 50& of the patients. c-Rheumatoid factor is usually negative. d-Antinuclear AB is diagnostic. e-Antidouble strand AB is diagnostic.
