Hi everyone.

Let us know something about each other.

I suggest that you use the following headings. You do not have to fill in all. Some may not apply to you and others you may not want to disclose:

Name:

Year of graduation (or current year of study):

Country of residence (and city):

Job title:

Sorry but I do not have Arabic typewriter (and I am ridiculously slow to type in Arabic anyway). However, if you prefer everything in Arabic because you are struggling to understand English, I suggest that you should stop wasting your time on forums and go away somewhere quiet to improve your dreadful English. If you can't understand English at all, then you are in the wrong forum my friend, because you are impossible to be a doctor or a student related to our good old English speaking Baghdad Medical College.

Cheers

Dr. i know that knowing english is very imp for any dr. coz after all its the language that most the resources are in ,but we cant ask every student and esp. new ones who are in the 1st or 2nd year to be fluent in english, we all suffered from the language at the begining, and i do remeber how i struggled with cunnigham at first .
we all were bad at the begininning , and then we did improved our language step by step ,so we can't just say to any student who can't write or express himself in english well ;as the others do ;to quit and leave the forum, this forum was established to help the students to improve themselves and to get in touch with each others ,so we can't just be so strict with them:)

thanks allot DR.

lavie You are right.

We all struggled in the beginning. However, we all still managed "SOME" English.

You will notice that I said "if you can not understand English AT ALL", This will obviously NOT exclude those like us when we started Medical School.

Anyway, thank you for your contribution and words of wisdom. I hope you will now be able to tell us something about yourself.

Cheers

Mohammed

Dr.Mohammed i can understand what u r trying to focus on here regarding the language and maybe i over reacted somehow towards it , sorry if i delievered my opinion in a way that sounded harsh but still Dr. this forum was created to help the students whether they have a perfect or zero english.if they can't express themselves in english now ,they will be able to do so in the future and im sure from this.

No worries and I never felt you were harsh
By the way, you and anyone else, can be as harsh on me as you wish.

I promise, I won't feel offended

It is all a little bit of fun and some education, isn't it

all the best for your study.

Mohammed

p.s. why is everyone calling me Dr.
I prefer being called Mohammed.
In my humble opinion, it is more friendly and less formal
