U R extremly right ( Dr. Zaid & Dr. Ali ) ..
How we see Bronchiactasis in CXR or How does Bronchiactasis appear on a CXR ?? Usaually in Bronchiactasis CXR, we see Ring Shadows ( white arrows ) which are characteristic of Bronchiactasis, but it is usually seen near the hilum ( at the Main Bronchi ), but in this CXR it is mostly Distal Rings, & this feature usually occur in Cystic Fibosis ..
I hope U get benefit from this information ..

& for U Dr. Ali .. Actually there is NO honey comb sign in the previous CXR .. So, I'll attach a CXR of a patient with Fibrosing Alveolitis & typical Honey-Comb Sign ( white circle ) .. بـالـضـبـط مثــل خليـــة النـحل Enjoy it ..

Dear Mahmood .. I think it is better to put it in the Chest - X - Ray topic ..
1st, It is a very bad X-Ray film ..
2nd, there is Huge Cardiomegally, & it is either :
a) Dilated CardioMyoPathy .. in which all the heart chambers are hypertrophied .. b) Huge Pericadial Effusion .. c) Cardiac Temponade due to Huge Pericadial Effusion .. d) Congestive Heart Failure .. & I cannot determine which one is the accurate one unless U give me the lateral film, or more clear PA film ..
& I hope in the next time U put it in the Chest - X - Ray topic, & put more clear picture ..
& I wish the responsible of this forum to remove it to the Chest - X - Ray topic ..
Peace ..

dear ahmed
u r right.. it should be in the x_ray section... i hope that the modulator will translate it there..
if u read what i wrote well.. u will find that i asked 4 D.Dx not Dx so i think u dont need lateral view...by the way its one of Dr.Hamhed ALjanabis slide
my regard 4 u man
Aljubouri83- 08-29-2007
U R all right, It is an Emphysematous chest .. But, actually I did not put this CXR for the Emphysema ..
There is another thing U didn't check it well ..
If U concentrate on the Upper Left Zone, U will see a Non-Homogenous Small Circular Radiological Opacity ( small white arrows ), surrounded by a normal lucent area of the lung, & then surrounded by a Non-Homogenous Semi-Circular Line of Opacity ( slightly irregular in the lower border ) - ( large white arrows ), & this is what is called " Halo Sign ", which is characteristic of Pulmonary Aspergilloma, & also there is a Pleural Reaction ( black arrows ) which usually accompanies this Aspergilloma ..
I hope U get benefit of this information ..
