hello guys ... how are you ....
i want to discuss something really importnant happening in our college and in every college and my be in every thing in the new iraq ..
it is cheating and i am here talking about cheating in exams ... the mid-year exams that just finished a week ago ... there were cells of cheating .. groups that change their places and cheat with even people they dont know(by using symbols)- u know most questions are m.c.q and cheating is easy here ..my name is ahmed and i am sitting in the front line so it is a dream to cheat for me ... but tell me do u cheat (honestly) at exams and ... as i saw .. even the girls who used to tell us that they dont know how 2 cheat ...they know have a new methods of cheating and i know alot of girls in my grade...they are the masters in cheatting.... will those people ...deserve to be a doctor in the future .... we all know they will have a mark they dont deserve ....??? hear from u guys

I dislike people who asks me to help them..cos I know I will not do much for them ;they even are better than me in degrees

thanks A7med for the topic, in fact i wanted to start such a topic ...
So , My current opinion is that I strongly disagree with every studnet thinking -trying-comitting the " Cheating crime" simply its a sin , trait for oneself , college system and the whole community ...
Cheating is ashame cuz ppl who are cheating simply deceive others and thats not acceptible ...
also , cheaters will get marks they don't deserve affecting students who really studied well and that has no justice ...
Last year , in the final exam of Pathology ( 4th grade ) , the questions were of the mcq's type , though they were not hard questions , but a very large number of students did cheat ... and they got marks equal or higher than honest students who did not cheat , that fact really hurt me cuz it injured the ( rewarding system of college ) ...
I hope everyone just quit it , cuz an exam cheater will cheat elsewhere in life as all cheating is the same PLUS we are medical students and we should have strict ethics ...
At last I like to admit that i cheated few times in my life ( especially in high school ) , Meanwhile I really regret it now and i wish i didn't commit it ........
one last statement I strongly believe in is :
Cheaters never win , Winners never cheat

it's funny how non-cheaters can't say anything about cheating at college as they will be mocked to death by cheaters but here in our online forum no one seems to be a cheater.

I've browsed the original topic as well as this one and it's quite obvious that most (non-cheating)members somehow believe that cheaters regard cheating as COOL.

Well let's see, in my grade this is not the case at all, at least not to this extent.

To begin with let's just get something clear, cheating is not widely condemned among students and usually not frowned upon but at the same time it's not praised or commended.

Once and for all I'm not justifying I'm just giving my analysis regarding this phenomenon:

You see it's more like there is a code of ethics among most students to help each other out during exams by any conceivable way. I'm not saying it's right I'm just saying it's a fact.
The reasons why this code of ethics had been established are many. Take for example this mysterious subconscious vibe that you can get from the students before any exam and it simply imparts that this exam and these lectures are our enemy and we should all unite in order to conquer it. I know you're laughing it me right now but this is quite true.

The other motive is to violate and oppose the system. The students gets the feeling that 'THEY' made crappy schedules and included subjects that were'nt given in class so why don't I pay them off??

So what I'm trying to reach here is that students cheat not because they have it in the can but because they feel they have to or ought to.

Not necessarily. Many folks study well and then cheat. It's not a rule. You know better than Ammooory me you've been in this college more than I have

me too,honestly WE DO CHEAT ON TERMS EXAMS &we do that because most of the students who gets the chance to cheat will not hesitate..offcourse if we know the questions by ourselves there is no need 4 cheating

not all .. i mean some people adore cheating .. like to check their answers and also they dont want to start thinking of their answers .. easy way

i want to say that 2day we took the results of pharma exam .... and the cheating in this exam was unbelievable .. walla i was sad bcoz i see alot of students with very high marks that they dont deserve and believe me .. they are so happy with the way they got it .. i mean ... that student will have a better (sa3y ) than me so ... who will win finally...

I'm in 2nd grade, and for me it's not a big deal (I rarely cheat ) and i think the cause of cheating is that the student can cheat (so why they dont !!) ..but i surely strongly oppose totally depending upon it-as we were in the high school- and also if it goes to the extent that affects other students' ranking-as mentioned,though i believe it wont- !!!

P.S. i hate calling it cheating, cause this implies harming others while benefitting ur ownself (like cheating in pays or other life-things) ... i'd rather refer it to "gettin' some help" or "copyin' from close friends "!! -the latter is cool huh ?!!

good for those who dont cheat,
they lie less than "us",
they have much inner peace than "us",
and they are able to blame more than "us",
i cheat and OFTEN,
i was door thani the first stage in 3 or 4 subjects,
in the door awal, mohamed adil saved me from not failing!
later on,
i told myself "I wont cheat in important subjects like phatho, anatomy, microbiology"
but i did eventually!
no doubt it's wrong,
but aren't we micheavilic?
no doubt it's unresponsible,
but are we that idealists?
it's a big delema we live in,
i dont blame those who feel happy cheating,
as long as they feel happy,
i dont blame either those who feel sorry to be not cheating and they left behind,
but they should know that one day they would prove themselves when there would be no chance to cheat...

i had never cheated since first grade and until this minute (am about to graduate)

i earned my marks with dignity and i know for sure that what i scored is my own effort

cheating is wrong and i can not justify it in anyway and for anybody yes i admit it is so common but that is what's called the common mistake

besides everything we read will pay back let us watch those who cheated how they will survive in the future will they make it to be good doctors??? i doubt it

but i wanna say something,
when there is no refrence,
everything is doable!
yes, people excuse killing, stealing, cheating and all those bad actions because there is no refrence, no religion, no constitution, no morals...
wait, i'm not pesimistic here,
but what is right or wrong became that relative that we reached a moment that we really can't judge...
as long as people are adults, and they are awared about what they are doing, you can't judge, i would judge kids or teenager because they would need a help and a hand to help them go on a certain way,
but until a certain age, and certain experience if i can say,
after that,
everything is really excusable...
what is wrong to you, might be right to someone else, and vise versa,
