I've read all ur topics and actually I found what Navigator said was right,cuz some members are now concerning with the quantity but not the quality,personally I prefer to post one topic per week or even a month which is helpful rather than posting tens per day which are boring.( no offense).

Take a 5 minutes stop and have a second thought and you will find ur self with us.

I do acknowledge the dilemma 'not a lot of good topics lately'. I agree with you about that.
With that being unaninmous, you all went blaming new members, the amount of fun topics, and the less frequent participation of the senior members.

I do think these 3 factors contributed to what is happening now but haven't it occured to you that there might be another reasons for this ? for instance have one of you just said to him/herself "why haven't I posted a good topic lately?"
And by this I'm referring to some senior members who showed their disappointment and dissatisfaction in this particular topic (Sarah, Farah, Omar, Khalid and even Zaid the topic-starter himself)
So if you haven't asked yourself let me tell you this, I've just checked the last 4-or-5 pages in the lounge and none of you have started a single topic (except for Happy Birthday BCMF & Japanese Brands Meanings which both of them by Zaid).
So why haven't you been posting? c'mon tell us what prevented you from starting a good topic all this time?
Or just answer this why don't anyone of you start a good topic now, tomorrow, or this week?

I'm not blaming you for not posting, hell no you have your reasons and I respect that.
What I'm blaming you for is you blaming the new members. Well my friends if it weren't for them, the forum would've died They've been way more active members than you've been.
For the record, I should exclude from the senior members: Farah Bahaa, Mohammed Jaafar, Yezen, Hanan, Zaid and Louay who remained active this period.

Now about the fun topics, you're talking as if this forum used to be all about Medicine and Serious topics which is not true. The fun and jokes section has always been the most active in this site since day 1.

I believe we're simply running out of topics and I personally can't think of anything new to post.

thanx for zaid 4 giving this subject up,
Infact I see that the forum is still on by the souls of the new members,
but the problem is simple it's that the new members didn't read the old topics,didn't c how this forum works, ok they r new and they r trying to fix themselves in this forum but guyz not in this way,it's nice that u r opening some subjects that r very useful, funny and some of them r new style of topics that were never opened before and it's good for renew this forum ,
but do u think that how much u post is how much u get known,no for gods sake,u'll be known by the quality and arrangement of your posts.
I'm not saying that your posts r bad ,incontrast they r so beautiful,but try to start a new one topic per 3 or 4 days at least for each member,not starting 3 or 4 topics per one day, some times i open the forum today ,the next day i see many new topics started by the same member,so i can't reply any of them,and the good topics will be missed between the large numbers of topics opened ,
The old members r here(and the proof is the replys of this topic were mostly by the old missing members) they r opening the site but they r like me,they don't reply coz of the large number of topics.
for example the lounge ,this section is for discussing not for writing stories about ghosts or whatever (no offense for the starter of the ghost topic ) coz we r not going to discuss an imaginary story in the lounge.
I'd like to encourage the new members but be eazy and don't rush in.

And guyz who r hiding,where r u ?keep in touch ,the bigger fault of wht happened is not for the new members,it's yours
I wish that I didn't make anyone angry,but believe me this is for your interest.

Nice to hear from you all although I expected everyone checking the forum during these days to give us an opinion or idea no matter how simple it is

I think I'm turning into an attorney who collects documents and what witnesses said and come up with a conclusion to defend his case and convince the judges that he is right


After this nice cool fruitful discussion... the final headlines might be:

-Enjoy the forum dear members coz it has a room for all of us and for everything

-Post what you see appropriate and worth sharing with others and try to balance things coz we need everything here

-Try to check old topics if you can to have an idea about what have been posted before to avoid repeating and to come up with brand new topics

-Have more friends here by agreeing or disagreeing with each other coz that's the aim of exchanging thoughts and arguements

-Give us your real names (you undercovered agents) coz we want to chew you(نريد نعلسكم)

-Bring us the most dangerous most wanated member of this gang (Kadhum: HAPPY BIRTHDAY KADE ) or tell us where he is so that we can bust him (من يجلب لنا كاظم ستكون له جائزة صرة من الدنانير)


Finally I want to say that the forum started to be alive again (good topics started to appear in most of the branches) because of the participation of all... I feel that we are getting back the familial climate that we used to have before

p.s: I have an acceptable if not cool sense of humor and I'm not strict or too scientific as someone may conclude form my previous post

Yaba ..for the record and to let u all know ..no matter how hard or busy things can get with me or with my brother kadem el werda .. we will never leave this forum ..not for even a thought..and even through these past days ..we have been following things and reading almost everything if not a couple of times daily..then at least once/day...so i6me2noo ya sha3ab ..

Wella i enjoyed reading most of ur posts here and wished we can find such discussion in a large hall with more serious issues and more enthusiasm ..

Anyway to make it short ..thanx for all the appreciation words but mo thanx for the blaming ones.. ..lol..kidding ..shortly saying ..u all posted nicely here with a wonderful spirit .. so u can aim these efforts toward nice topics (emphasize here that "nice" is a relative thing) ..yella let's start making things better ("better" is not relative here..better by all means) ..we can help each other ..we can do our best .. let's not make it like an obligation ..let's enjoy making good things and nice topics to each other ..let's share the good mood and the fine spirit .. "happiness when shared is doubled, while shared saddness is half the sorrow " ..

I read your article as soon as you posted it, I read most of replies now.

I like how some members say we need to excuse active members who are no longer participating...

I have truly been " occupied" with my family issues, and settlement , yet trying to graduate with others...and still I had this terrible experience with our great college..

It's not so easy to feel forced to get departed from college, yet part of it, of its daily sessions, seniors, professors, students...when not even there living among them!
At least that's what I've felt...since I felt it, it's true!

It is even harder to get so much disappointed from the system. I didn't graduate like others, for a reason that no many know, yet it's very disappointing and supressing to my motivation and excitement about medicine, college itself!!!

I do check the forum from time to time...I guess I just don't have the guts to participate with anything...kind of feeling not belonging much.

Anyways..will still hope to have better effective participation..
I like many students here in forum, who are really clever and enthusiastic about medicine..

well it was long time from my last reply in the bcmf,but i still open bcmf every day and reed what wrote in topics , i was b4 posting topics aloot but now i stop maybe because of our hard study and wahes makoo to post topics and also my friends(sarah,lavie,reem) also stop posting so i stop also, i rember bf when i was in collage (4th grade)with lavie and sarah we were always discussing the topics that we post and the new ideas always came to us, but now maybe because we r not seeing each other the motive to post new topic for me is gone as i think.
i wish all the progress for bcmf.

in spite of the forum's information and great community ,Well I think it's because the forum style and look is getting very classic and boring so it doesnt attract the users anymore, Graphics is an important point of view for the forum ...
and I feel i must say this forum is in serious need of new design and banner

This matter is of particular concern to me and I wanted to get this little "push" to start the change... I will do it once I have the enough time, hopefully soon.

And since you brought the subject, do u have any particular suggestions?
